Community
Zeller Kern is strongly committed to community service. We serve on the boards of charitable organizations, participate in our churches, and work with youth organizations to help make our community a better place.
Current and past non profit board positions include: Sacramento Child Advocates, Sacramento Small Business Development Center Advisory Board Member. Zeller Kern also sponsors an annual canned food drive for the River City Food Bank the Sacramento Food Bank and Family Services during the month of December.
A unique way of giving back to the community
During the planning process, we may recommend that a client purchase insurance, such as life or long-term care insurance. These products have commissions embedded, which by law cannot be avoided or rebated. Our solution? Disclose the amount of the commission and then donate it to a charitable cause. We retain our transparency, and the community benefits from the donation. A win-win!
